For someone who look for a more modern cafe with a good selection of desserts, Cafe Museum in Vienna is for you. I wouldn’t really like crazy and say wow about this place. It was just alright. Mediocre service and desserts. The inside of Cafe Museum is cozy and I saw many locals hanging out in Cafe Museum. I would recommend for you to have a good chat with you beloved one, but I wouldn’t say that Cafe Museum is a must go cafe in Vienna (just my opinion).
However, they did serve mouth-watering Schokolade-Mandel-Soufflé (chocolate almond soufflé) for €8.00 and it was really chocolatey. Eat it with the whipped cream to balance the chocolate out.
My friend and I ordered three mini tarts, in the menu it’s called Wiener Trio (€ 7.50). The three mini torten are Sacher, Mozart, and Himbeer-Topfen (raspberry tart). I wish I ordered every single dessert in there.
What confused me is the name of the patisserie in the menu is Landtmann, which is a name for another famous cafe in Vienna (and I didn’t go there, I really wanted to!). Probably Cafe Museum takes the cakes from Landtmann Cafe.
