Imagine Your Korea – Autumn Paintings

michellefranclee January 23, 2018

I’ve been contemplating whether I should share this or not. So the reason why I went to South Korea Oct 2017, is because I won and got invited by Imagine Your Korea to become one of the Global Photographer (the competition is from their Instagram). And they are doing the campaign of 100 Cameras, 100 Views for every season. Since it’s Oct-Nov, it’s autumn season and they want to feature photographers that won the competition from around the world.

During the trip, there were 4 people in total including me, and we were divided into 2 groups based on the location. I went to Gangwon-do Area for two days and it seriously the best because its a trip solely for photo hunting purposes and to make the video (down below). So yeah, it was such a great experience that probably only happen once in my life. Really glad I got it and went there. It also truly open my eyes that South Korea is not just Seoul, Myeongdong, Gangnam, or Jeju. I saw so much beauty from the other side of South Korea within three days. I’m so sure that the other part of South Korea worth to explore!

I will share photos of the trip with all the autumn colors soon!

p.s.: I extended my trip in South Korea and also Japan, but the 100 Cameras, 100 Views campaign is only during the first 1-3 days of my trip. My whole trip of South Korea and Japan was 17 days. Other than the first 3 days, it was all my itinerary and without the Imagine Your Korea team :).

p.s.s: Featured image location is in Inje Secret Garden, Gangwon

Hi Frank. I’m pretty sure I put it in my blog (you can look at “South Korea” under the “Travel” category). Hope that help.
