Mirabell Garden Salzburg

I’m sure you all know ‘The Sound of Music’ film with songs that we never ever forget. Well, some of the scenes (where they sang Do-Re-Mi) are filmed in Mirabell Garden in Salzburg. If you compare it with Jardin des Tuilleries or Central Park, Mirabell Garden is a small scale one. Does size matter anyway? When I was in Salzburg, I passed by the Mirabell Garden four times trying not to forget what it feels like to be in there.

Colourful flowers, well-trimmed bushes, fountains, and with the sounds of harp and clarinet, you instantly can feel the charm of Mirabell Garden. Especially when it’s a beautiful weather, I wonder if I can have a picnic there.
