5 Capsule Hotel I’ve Tried and Recommend in Japan
Capsule hotel is very common in Japan due to the expensive price of land, and Japanese people are very efficient in using their spaces. In the span of three trips…

During my South Korea – Japan Trip, I put Kobe as one of my high priority because eating Kobe beef has been a dream of mine. I know it’s quite a weird bucket list, but a foodie gotta do what they gotta do. However, I seriously don’t know what to write in here because I experienced a very unfortunate accident on my way to Kobe. So I cannot really give you a full review or anything like that in here. Kobe still beautiful although I was just seeing probably small part of the city.

Kobe is one of largest cities in Japan and it is famous for it’s beef, which is Kobe beef. It is near Osaka and it takes less than an hour from Kyoto (I stayed in Kyoto). It was a perfect morning with wonderful blue, cloudless sky, until I have to fell down from my bike. Since I have to go to Kyoto Station to go to Kobe, I decided to use my bike that I rent to go to the station (from my friend’s house). I landed on my face, kiss the asphalt, and was bleeding (nose, lips and knees). It seriously was a mood changer because the next day have swollen face and simpson-look-alike upper lip. BUT, I was stubborn and driven enough to go to Kobe.
After the accident, I’m not expecting to explore Kobe like I usually travel (which usually a lot of walking, photo-hunting and trying to find non-mainstream places). I was still constantly bleeding and just want my Kobe beef. The universe was kind enough to give me bright, beautiful day (did I mention cloudless? The kind of sky that I like). But I didn’t visit other places other than Harborland and Kobe Dining restaurant. My friend suggested me Kobe Herb Garden which I totally forgot to visit :(. There’s also Mount Rokko, Arima Onsen, Anpanman Museum and Ikuta Shrine (one of the oldest shrines in Japan!). Kinda sad to think that I wasn’t fully experience Kobe. I guess I still need to return to Kobe then.
I was just wondering around Harborland, where the ferris wheel and Anpanman Museum are. You can see the Kobe Tower and the Oriental Hotel from there. There’s also a harbor and red bridge you can easily find from Harborland.

I only took pictures in the harborland and when I was eating Kobe. The Kobe beef though… Made me think that all of my hardship (lol) is worth it. Although I was budget traveling, I saved up all my money to eat just 100g of Kobe beef. The price of 100g in Kobe Dining restaurant (in Harborland Mosaic) is almost ¥5000. Expensive and worth every bite.

I know this blog post is far from helpful, but I just want to share one of my bucket list that I accomplished. Stay tune for more of my post by follow my blog (if you have WordPress) or subscribe :). Cheers!

After I bought my round-trip ticket to Japan in 2018, I was wondering on how can I make my trip different than the previous one. Of course I can never…

I knew about Enoura Observatory the moment I learnt about Hiroshi Sugimoto from one of his artworks in Leeum Museum. I just have to include Enoura in my itinerary. Enoura…
