Hello there. It’s been more than a month since I updated this blog. I was experiencing some life-changing stuff like graduating and such. Now I’m back in my lovely country, Indonesia and will probably stay here for a while.
I’m also been thinking whether to continue my blog or not. I’ve considered this blog like my baby. Although the progress is goddamn slow (I’m not like those bloggers that thrive within couple months), it’s still growing extremely slow. As slow as the sloth in Zootopia or even slower. Sometimes it can be fun to have a platform where you can share stuff that you’re passionate with, but at some point, if the stuff that you share is not being seen or “heard” enough, I personally think that it’s pointless to exist. Because honestly, my motivation comes from the people who view and genuinely comment on my blog. I know it’s kinda sorrow but it’s the ugly truth.
I’m also been questioning what kind of travel blogger, photographer am I, my editing style (lol I don’t even have lightroom yet). I’m not based in Europe anymore and that definitely will change the “niche” of my blog and so on. People say my blog post is too long, some say it’s too short, too many pictures, too little pictures. So here I am, thinking whether to continue this baby or not *insert thinking emoji*. But since I paid for annual price of this domain (www.michellefranclee.com), I’ll continue this till the end of 2017 and see about it later on.
In the meantime, here’s the cities that I’ve been visiting and will be posting about (travel related ofc). Some of the cities already have bit of post and you can see in the menu.
- Copenhagen
- Porto
- Lisbon
- Several cities of Switzerland
- Strasbourg
- Salzburg
- Hallstatt
- Vienna
- Prague
- Brussels
Wishing you a great day and great summer ?

The 1st & 3rd pics are ridiculously good, where in Switzerland did you take these? We’ve said it to you once before, we think your content is superb. Many of the blogs that have a ton of comments can partially be a result of networking, there are so many comment for comment, like for like groups, it is very time consuming. I’d rather have 2 genuine comments than 15 “networked” comments. We hope you choose to keep this blog alive <3
Thank you so much for your kind words!!!! It seriously motivate me!!! The 1st pic is from Swiss Grand Canyon (Ruinaulta). 3rd is from Zermatt, near Lake Stellisee, quite bit of a hike but it’s really worth it!!!
How did you take the first pic?? by drone? :O
No, I was by the cliff and the view is that pic ?
Hey Michelle ^ ^
I just discovered your blog today (through Tripzilla) and read many of your articles, but this one forced me to leave a comment!
I’m really impressed by the way you write (you’re really informal and chill) and you’re photography is just AMAZING.
I love travelling and eating, so I think we both have some stuff in common…
I think it’s really cool for you to study in Copenhagen. I mean… of all the places, Switzerland?! 😀
Basically, I want to tell you that you should not stop writing on this blog. You have people like me who really love your writing, so it just isn’t correct for you to discontinue doing it.
You have talent and potential, who cares if you don’t have AS many views as you want?! You’ve made a lot of progress and have grown as a writer, and I guess that’s all that really matters, right?
Oh and remember, there are a lot of silent readers on the internet 🙂
Take care of yourself and have fun! And never give up on what you started!
Fighting~
Thank you so much! Omg this means a lot to me and i’m screenshot it and keep it in a folder called “reminder”! Hahaha thank you thank you thank you so much! I’ll keep fighting ?
YAS! That’s the spirit Michelle 😀
Motivating amazing writers like you is my job.
Haha a ‘reminder’ that was xD (glad you took it seriously :0)
I promise to be a loyal reader <3
