This is my biggest batch of ceramics to date. All of them have gone through bisque firing and now all I need to do is to glaze them. I’m still afraid to glaze them because I’ve failed so many times on glazing them. But anyway, I did glaze some of them so I can see the result later on when I glaze fire it.
I’m quite proud that I can create pretty consistent handbuilt ceramics these days. Although I haven’t been doing pottery these days 🥲. Here are some of the bisque ceramics I have so far:
In early December, I went to ceramic class and did 4 sessions in 2 days. I had a lot of fun with @ceramicastudio and did a lot of wheel throwing. I highly recommend you this studio if you want to learn how to make your own ceramics. The teacher was very nice as well. You might need to book a session first, and the place can be limited due to covid (I think max 2-3 pax per session).
Me and my creations. All of them are wheel throws. And that’s me didn’t realize that doing pottery through wheel throwing is very damn hard and needs a lot of energy. Like a loooot. I think for now I’m good with just hand-building and slabbing techniques.
