Happy new year 2021! 2020 was definitely a hard year for me and for everyone. I thought last year was gonna be my year, but turns out it was not. I honestly don’t have any expectations for 2021 but just to get through it one day at a time. Obviously, with the travel restriction around the world, I cannot travel at all. I also didn’t travel domestically (in Indonesia, my home country) because I don’t think that’s the right thing to do. It’s really hard for me because traveling is what I like the most in my life (and to the point where I think it’s my life purpose). So I’m quite proud of myself, being able to hold back and put aside my selfishness. Will I travel this year? Maybe, it depends on how the world will recover from the pandemic. I also don’t have high hope for Indonesia 😅. Anyway, with this new year, I hope everybody is safe and healthy, wherever you are.
I know I haven’t update my blog very often for the last two years due to me having a full-time job (but let’s be honest here, it’s just an excuse) and I update more on other platforms. So if you want to follow me there, here’s the link:
See you around!
p.s.: The featured image is a picture of a moon from my little terrace during the day before new year’s eve. I think it was the second time I use my camera in 2020. Just thinking about that makes me sad because my camera is my travel companion and they used to be very active from 2016-2019 because I travel often in the past.
