My first underwater photography with Olympus TG7
I’ve been a photographer on land for almost 10 years now, and I’m finally doing it underwater. I started diving 3 years ago in Tulamben, Bali. Tulamben is a heaven…

In 27 May 2022, I moved to Bali. After spending one year in the mountain, I decided that it’s time for a new adventure. Now, I’ve been in Bali for about 3.5 months and I love, love, love being in here. I love how accessible nature and public spaces are, something that I cannot get in Jakarta. I love that there are a lot of activities to do, community, and restaurants to try, something that I cannot get in the mountain. I love that I made new friends along the way, something that I thought was impossible as I grew older (well, not possible, but maybe harder?).
There are tons of stuff that I haven’t got the chance to do it, such as surfing, diving, island hoping, see the dolphins, and many more. I barely scratch the surface. All in all, I’m just very excited to be here, exploring new things, one step at a time.
I don’t know how long I’m gonna be here in Bali, but as long as I can work remotely and the cost of living doesn’t spike ridiculously (which I think gonna happen soon, because no more pandemic and people are starting to travel again), I will try to stay here as long as I can.
